A yearly general support donation to Austin Smiles, the Austin Plastic Surgery Foundation, will help us to continue to provide services to children born with cleft palate and cleft lip in Central Texas, and fund medical missions in the coming year--wherever the need is greatest.
Local Support:
Supports Austin Smiles' programs in the Central Texas area, including: Cleft patient and parent outreach, educational materials, equipment, and reconstructive surgeries for previously untreated adults.
International Support:
Funds medical missions to sites in Latin America to perform cleft lip and palate surgery for children born with these birth defects. These children are ostracized by their communities until their clefts are repaired--allowing them to eat, breathe, and speak normally, and eventually attend school.
The Jim Fox, MD Medical Mission Scholarship Fund:
A donation to the the memorial fund set-up to continue the work of one of our founders, Dr. Jim Fox. The fund underwrites the mission fee for a medical professional each year.
Mission Personnel Sponsorships - El Salvador:
Use this fund to help a member of the El Salvador team pay his or her medical mission fee of $600. Please use the "in honor" field to indicate the member you are supporting with your gift.
